This contract opportunity seeks a skilled Pharmacist to support a specialty pharmacy location in Waseca, MN. The role focuses on serving long-term care patients, providing specialized pharmaceutical care tailored to this setting. This position offers 20-30 hours per week with a mostly Monday through Friday schedule, including some weekend coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive dispensing and review of medications for long-term care residents
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and policies
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy management
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of pharmacy activities
- Support quality assurance and safety protocols within the specialty pharmacy setting
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Minnesota
- Prior experience in long-term care pharmacy or specialty pharmacy preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, regulations, and patient care standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Location:
- Waseca, Minnesota
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Some weekend shifts required
- 20-30 hours per week
