As a fully remote Lead Coding Specialist, the candidate will manage coding operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide training to staff while working full-time from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Key responsibilities Oversee coding accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations Provide training and support to coding staff to enhance their skills Conduct audits and implement improvements to coding processes Required qualifications CPC or RHIT certification is mandatory Proven experience in medical coding and compliance Strong knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations Experience with coding audits and staff training Ability to work independently in a remote environment
