– Support both front and back office operations, including greeting patients, rooming them, and scheduling appointments.

– Answer phones and manage patient communication efficiently.

– Take vital signs, draw blood, and administer vaccines.

– Provide clinical assistance as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations.

– Maintain a collaborative relationship with staff to uphold high-quality patient care.

– Support health education efforts and outreach within the community.

– Ensure accurate documentation and records management within the medical setting.

– Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externships.

– Experience in phlebotomy/venipuncture and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

– Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.

– Proficiency in computer skills relevant to clinical documentation.

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality patient care.

– Certified Medical Assistant (strongly preferred).

– Bilingual skills or additional languages are a plus, especially in patient communication.

– Flexibility to work on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a one-hour lunch break.

– Passion for health promotion and outreach.

– Prior experience supporting primary care or similar clinical environments is highly valued.

– Schedule in this position is centered around the specified days and hours, with consistent patient volume of approximately 10-12 patients per day.

– Knowledge of age-appropriate patient care for children aged 2 and up.
