Position Information Radiation Therapist, Oncology Location: Northwest Community Hospital – Arlington Heights, IL Full Time | 40 hours/week Working Hours Monday‑Friday: 6:30am‑3:00pm, 7:00am‑3:30pm, 7:30am‑4:00pm, 8:00am‑4:30pm Saturday requirement every 7 weeks What You Will Do Simulate treatment set‑ups Perform dosimetric calculations Accurately deliver ionizing radiation as prescribed by the radiation oncologist under general supervision of the System Manager, Radiation Oncology Assist in patient care and management Adhere to clinical, technical and operational policies and procedures What You Will Need Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program, required Certification: Candidate for ARRT (R) (American Registry of Radiological Technologists) required; must successfully complete the certification exam and be registered within one year of start date Other Certifications: Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association, required License: Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) licensure, required Experience: Previous experience with Varian equipment and ARIA EMR preferred Benefits Eligibility for an Annual Incentive Plan, offering a percentage of base salary based on organizational performance Premium pay for shift, on‑call, holiday, and other employee job categories Opportunity for annual increases based on performance Career pathways for professional growth and development Medical, Dental, Vision, and Pet insurance options Tuition reimbursement Free parking Wellness program Health Savings Account options Retirement plan with company match Paid time off and holiday pay EOE: Race/Color/Sex/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Religion/National Origin/Disability/Veteran, VEVRRA federal contractor #J-18808-Ljbffr 1201 Northwest Community Hospital
