SPEECHCOM, INC is excited to announce a full-time opportunity for a passionate and motivated school psychologist to join our Supportive and Collaborative School-Based Team in the Walnut area of Southern California. If you’re looking to grow, feel supported, and make an impact, this is the perfect place for you!

Position Highlights

  • Rate of Pay: $65-$72 per hour W2 (depending on experience)
  • Full-Time - 8 billable Hours / 5 days a week
  • 2 Elementary Sites; this assignment is to cover a leave of absence
  • Anticipated Start Date: August 10, 2026, through October 30, 2026

Requirements:

Requirements

Focus on several key areas of student development and academic success. The job entails a comprehensive approach that addresses a student's emotional, social, and behavioral needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with students, families, and district staff to help determine the support required to ensure a student's academic success.
  • Assess students' learning styles, cognitive abilities, and academic needs.
  • Help teachers tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs of their students.
  • May also assist in developing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, including learning disabilities or other challenges.
  • Support each student's IEP by working with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Teach pro-social behaviors to students within the school environment.

Education and Experience:

A Master's degree in psychology required.

Pupil Personnel Services Credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (Current)
