Job Title: Construction Laborer – Weekend Shift Job Description

As a Construction Laborer on the weekend shift, you work indoors in a permanent, state-of-the-art facility, using hand and power tools to support off-site volumetric construction. You collaborate closely with a tight-knit team in a positive, innovation-driven environment and perform framing, drywall, and light electrical tasks within the Utility/Rework department.

• Perform framing and drywall work as part of off-site volumetric construction projects.
• Use hand, power, and pneumatic tools safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks.
• Assist with light electrical work in the Utility/Rework department as needed.
• Read and interpret tape measurements accurately down to 1/16" to ensure precise construction work.
• Support rework activities by identifying issues, making corrections, and maintaining quality standards.
• Contribute to maintaining a stable production phase and high up-time within the factory environment.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly to coordinate work and meet production goals.
• Follow safety procedures and best practices while working around automated equipment and robots.
• Adapt to changing priorities and self-start on tasks to keep workflow moving efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and handle materials and equipment responsibly.

• Proficiency in construction-related tasks, including framing and drywall work.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16".
• Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tooling.
• Basic familiarity with light electrical work in a construction or production setting.
• Capability to support rework activities and maintain quality standards.
• Strong drive to maintain stable production phases and high factory up-time.
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and self-start in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work as a team player.

• Background in carpentry or framing is highly beneficial.
• Comfort working in a highly automated production environment with robotics.
• Ability to adapt to an innovation-driven culture and continuous improvement mindset.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, ID.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
