Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Cerner system
• Utilize equipment such as Baxter pumps and GE monitors effectively
• Participate in patient triage and emergency response procedures

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Active RN license
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications prior to starting
• 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center
• 1-year experience in an ER setting
