The Role and Why It's Important

At Hy-Vee, our floral department helps customers find the perfect arrangement for every occasion, and our Floral Clerks are a vital part of making those moments special. • Unload trucks, place product in appropriate storage areas, check in product, put product away, and process invoices as needed

• Run the department register, receive payment, and make change as applicable

• Remove trash in a timely manner and assist with general department upkeep

• Answer the phone promptly and provide friendly, helpful service to customers who call

• Follow Hy-Vee's dress code, hygiene standards, and all department and company guidelines

• Pitch in with other tasks or special projects as they come up

• Apply math skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages in day-to-day tasks

• Communicate clearly with customers and co-workers and contribute positively to the team
