Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Remote Billing Specialist.About the Opportunity:Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join a growing revenue and billing team in a fully remote capacity. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where accuracy, problem-solving, and collaboration are critical to success. The organization is experiencing continued growth and provides excellent exposure to billing operations and revenue processes.Responsibilities:

• Prepare and distribute customer invoices via email and mail
• Process credit memos and billing adjustments
• Maintain and update customer master data records
• Track billing exceptions and special customer requests
• Balance daily transaction registers and ensure billing accuracy
• Respond to billing inquiries from customers and internal sales teams
• Assist with reporting related to billing activity and cash flow impacts
• Review invoice changes and sales-related documentation for accuracy
• Identify discrepancies in contracts, billing records, and internal systems
• Escalate issues and proactively recommend solutions when concerns arise

Skills

• Associate's degree with 6-10 years of billing, accounts receivable, or related experience, or Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of billing, accounts receivable, or related experience
• Experience working in a high-volume transactional environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify billing discrepancies
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Salesforce and/or Oracle Cloud experience preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
