Position Details:

Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer

Location: Buffalo, NY- 14203 (Hybrid)

Duration: 6-12 month (possible extension)

Pay range- $65- 74/hr

Top 3 skills:

1. 8-9 years working as a BSA or technical BA
2. SQL concepts, data warehousing, ETL
3. Latest reporting BI tools/Power BI
4. Cloud services and should be able to write queries, working with product owners, business stakeholders, coming up with data discrepancy questions, need to write complex queries and most SQL queries
5. KYC -banking sector knowledge and experience will add value
6. We need candidate who can help and understand Agile Methodology

Job Description:

• Looking for someone who knows advanced SQL concepts, understands Data warehousing and ETL, familiar with report development in Power BI/ Tableau/ Business Objects.
• Data visualization - they need to understand the underlying requirement in detail, to build the query and data set is the complex part, how do we get that data set to display later on in the dashboard. We used to use SSRS, now we use business objects, mostly Power BI and Tableau.
• We have SSIS currently, they should understand what the SSIS packages. They need to understand the concepts, strong SQL concepts, the rest will take care of the rest. They need to be able to create tables, joins, etc.

Interview Process:

• 1st round with the team lead and the 2nd round with Hiring Manager
