In this role, you will work closely under the direct supervision of a licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high‑quality speech and language therapy to students from K through 6th grade. Your primary focus will be implementing treatment plans, tracking student progress, and helping students overcome communication barriers to thrive academically and socially. Core Responsibilities Conduct speech‑language therapy sessions with individual students or small groups based on established Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Document student performance, collect data during sessions, and report findings to the supervising SLP to help adjust treatment plans. Prepare creative therapy materials, games, and visual aids. Assist with configuring and maintaining Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. Maintain open communication with the supervising SLP, classroom teachers, and school staff to support student accommodations. Maintain accurate, confidential student records and logs in accordance with Medicaid, school district policies, and HIPAA/FERPA regulations. Qualifications & Requirements Associate degree from an accredited SLPA program, or a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Current or eligible for MA SLPA Licensure/Registration. ASHA SLPA certification (C-SLPA) is preferred but not required. Strong organization, patience, and a passion for working with children with diverse learning and communication needs.
