Safety Specialist

Key Responsibilities Include Leading safety improvement projects and supporting plant themes. Implementing PDCA cycles to reduce hazards and injuries. Collaborating with department leaders and safety committees to foster a safety culture. Applying safety policies and conducting risk assessments, ergonomic studies, and safety data analysis. Reporting safety activities, trends, and developing technical expertise. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related fields, or equivalent experience. 0-4 years of safety experience. Strong understanding of safety regulations, injury prevention, and data analysis. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to interpret safety policies, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Working conditions: open and manufacturing environments, possible overtime, shift work, minimal travel, and production line tasks.
