Title: Project Manager
Reports To: VP of Operations
Location: Aurora, CO

Position Summary:
The Project Manager will make an impact by ensuring the successful completion of various projects in terms of quality, accuracy, timeliness, and budget adherence. This is an entry-to-mid-level role suited to candidates with 1\u20135 years of experience who are ready to take on real project ownership quickly. This industry moves fast, and training happens alongside live project work rather than in a classroom before it starts \u2014 new PMs take on smaller projects from day one, building toward rental and custom-rental work as they grow. It's a heavy workload with a lot expected early, but it comes with a clear path forward: as PG Exhibits continues to grow, this role is a genuine feeder into Senior Project Manager and other advanced roles within Operations for PMs who show they can handle the pace and the responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact and communicate effectively with customers through various forms of communication regarding the details of their events and exhibit requirements
• Interact, communicate, and work effectively with various internal departments, from operations to sales, to accomplish goals
• Interact and communicate effectively with vendors through various forms of communication regarding the details of events and exhibit requirements and to accomplish goals
• Collaborate closely with the internal sales team, such as Account Executives and the Account Management team
• Create project timelines for clients with due dates for artwork, client product inbounds, final decisions, and more, updating all involved departments on status regularly
• Procure materials for job-specific items; track costs of job-specific materials, estimated versus actual
• Manage cost-to-revenue ratios to achieve financial goals
• Input data into company databases to track all job detail for proposed and sold jobs
• Communicate schedule conflicts to appropriate parties effectively and in a timely manner
• Research and provide detailed information on third-party vendors
• Possess and maintain knowledge of the market for new materials, suppliers, and techniques
• Interact effectively with show-site installation and dismantle labor teams
• Schedule and lead various production-related meetings
• Redline drawings, coordinating with Engineering and the Shop; approve drawings
• Review Show Services estimates, coordinating with AE and AM to ensure everything is accounted for upon delivery
• Travel to show site for supervision of assets and customers onsite
• Ramp into increasingly complex project types as skills develop, starting with smaller jobs and building toward rental, custom rental, and larger client accounts
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or similar equivalent experience
• 1\u20135 years of relevant experience; trade show or exhibit industry experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate
• Comfortable learning on the job and picking up new processes while simultaneously carrying live project responsibility, since formal training time is limited in this fast-paced industry
• Ability to work with diverse personalities in sales, design, account management, and production, while managing costs, time requirements, and customer expectations
• Ability to read design drawings, or a strong willingness and aptitude to learn quickly
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with varying deadlines
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Highly skilled in critical thinking and problem-solving
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Willingness and capability to travel for site installations
• A self-starter mindset and genuine interest in growing into more senior project management responsibility over time
