High‑Bay Material Handling Technician (DeKalb, IL)

Picture this: after a focused two‑day orientation (Monday and Tuesday), you step into a 65&degree;F, immaculate facility. You’re entrusted with high‑reach equipment to place product in the right slot the first time, every time. You help your team turn trailers fast and keep inventory flowing—work that directly powers customers and communities. Perform well, show up consistently, and this evaluation‑to‑hire path can lead to being hired by the company.

Core responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment to move product safely and accurately
• Putaway, replenishment, and product transfers within a high‑bay warehouse
• Load/unload trailers to standard
• Run a variety of equipment: turret, stand‑up, stand‑up reach, sit‑down forklifts, Reach Forklift, and Dock Stocker (Stand‑Up Reach or Counterbalance Forklift)

Compensation & shifts

• A Shift – $20.30/hr : Sunday–Tuesday (5:15 AM – 4:45 PM) + Wednesday (5:15 AM – 11:15 AM)
• B Shift – $20.30/hr : Wednesday (11:15 AM – 4:45 PM) + Thursday–Saturday (5:15 AM – 4:45 PM)
• D Shift – $22.30/hr : Sunday–Wednesday (5:15 PM – 3:45 AM)

Schedule: 12‑hour shifts with overtime available. 4 shifts available! Ask us for more details.

Qualifications

• Verifiable experience safely operating high‑reach lift trucks (required)
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• People‑oriented collaborator who enjoys group projects
• Careful, safety‑driven work style
• Achievement‑oriented; embraces challenges
• Independent and self‑directed
• Process‑oriented mindset
• Forklift licensed/proficient
• Steel‑toed boots required for orientation and work

Onboarding

Mandatory two‑day orientation and safety training every Monday and Tuesday; attendance on both days is required for all shifts.
