About the Position

Job Opportunity – Medical Surgical Float RN – Georgia

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required; no call required; floating within facility and scope of practice as needed

Highlights:

• ER Hold and Short Stay patient population with 5:1 patient ratios on days and nights
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
• Maximum of 7 days time off allowed per contract; all requests must be finalized at time of submission
• Full compliance required prior to start date with bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1-2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with 4-5:1 patient ratios preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital, LTAC, or Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Skills required: Med/Surg, Rapid Response/Code teams, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Isolation Precautions/PPE
• Experience with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
