Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing in an accurate and timely manner.

Maintain documentation and records of specimen collection and patient interactions.

Explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort, understanding, and trust.

Create a professional and safe environment, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with health standards.

Demonstrate attention to detail and process excellence in all specimen collection tasks.

Work collaboratively with laboratory staff and healthcare team members to support lab operations.

Required Skills

Proven ability to perform error-free phlebotomy in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.

Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient comfort and communication.

Keyboard and data entry proficiency to document specimen and patient information accurately.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Additional Skills & Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience is required; over one year preferred.

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Reliable transportation with a commute time within 20–25 minutes to the work site.

Availability to adapt to assigned schedules and stay for entire shifts.
