Housekeeper Duties
Help
What To Expect
Responsible for initial on-the-job training of new housekeepers in the performance of their assigned duties and continue with any on-going training program.
Responsible for maintaining appropriate records on housekeeping, rooms, maintenance and common area work.
Responsible to prioritize the areas to be cleaned; assigns employees to a block of rooms and common areas and establishes a priority for any non-routine work.
Responsible for inspection of assigned work areas(s) to ensure proper cleanliness, inventory of supplies, refreshments, and amenities.
May be assigned to any Marine Corps Hospitality Services facility on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
Lifts and carries objects weighing up to 45 lbs independently and over 45 lbs with assistance.
Responsible to perform a variety of custodial duties.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
