Position Overview

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Savannah River Fulfillment is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. The Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving and processing incoming shipments, verifying product quantities and accuracy, inspecting inventory for damages, and ensuring all received merchandise is properly documented and entered into our warehouse management system.

This position plays an important role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring our clients' products are received efficiently and handled with care.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and product quality.
• Verify received products against packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documentation.
• Accurately count, identify, and document incoming inventory.
• Inspect shipments for damaged, missing, incorrect, or unexpected merchandise and report discrepancies to management.
• Enter receiving information into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) accurately and efficiently.
• Properly label, organize, and prepare received inventory for storage and put-away.
• Communicate with warehouse management and other departments regarding shipment discrepancies or receiving concerns.
• Maintain organized receiving areas and ensure inventory is handled according to company procedures.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock verification, and general warehouse operations as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous warehouse, receiving, inventory, or logistics experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately count and verify merchandise.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn warehouse management software.
• Ability to read and understand packing slips, shipping labels, and inventory documentation.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain accuracy, and adapt to changing warehouse priorities.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move products weighing up to 50 pounds, with assistance or equipment when appropriate.
• Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment.
