Design reliable, high-performing systems and integrate AI/ML-driven capabilities to improve real-world product experience. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver secure, high-quality solutions in an agile development environment. Contribute to architecture, development, testing, and CI/CD practices to support efficient and reliable software delivery. Succeed in this role by delivering maintainable solutions that improve customer outcomes and help advance Cisco’s AI-enabled platform strategy.Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 5+ years of related experience, or PhD with 2+ years of related experience.• Experience with one or more of the following: Golang, Python, Pytest, SQL (preferably PostgreSQL), Angular, JavaScript, or TypeScript.• Experience with one or more of the following: microservices, Kubernetes, containerization, virtualization, or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.• Experience integrating AI features (AI-assisted code generation), event-driven architecture (Apache Kafka) and real-time data pipelines.• Experience with RESTful API design, API security, or hierarchical and relational data modeling.Preferred Qualifications:• Experience with DevOps tools and practices such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.• Experience with Git, system design, or application performance optimization.• Experience with testing, debugging, and technical documentation.• Experience with secrets management tools such as HashiCorp Vault or object storage platforms such as MinIO or Amazon S3.• Problem-solving, communication, and customer-facing delivery skills.Why Cisco?
