Travel Ultrasound Sonographer - $1,995 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We are looking for an Ultrasound Technologist (US Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Dover, NH. The right US Tech must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements. Responsibilities Educate patients and/or patient's family regarding procedures performed Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concern Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and ultrasound‑guided biopsies Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to the appropriate medical staff Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results Maintain accurate patient records Understand and use the McKesson PACS system Stand and walk for long periods of time, bending, leaning or stooping without difficulty Have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist Basic Life Support (BLS) certification ARDMS National Certification (RVT, AB, or OB/GYN) State‑specific licensing when required Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment Job ID #1431215.
