Part-time position 15-20 hours weekly Join Our Team as a Driver! Are you a friendly, dependable professional who enjoys connecting with seniors and helping them stay active and engaged? Terra Bluffs is looking for a Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for our residents. What You’ll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers) Be the Friendly Face Behind the Wheel: Transport residents to medical appointments, community outings, shopping trips, and other scheduled events. Assist residents in and out of the vehicle safely and with kindness. Maintain an upbeat, caring attitude that turns every ride into a positive experience. Ensure Safety Comes First: Perform regular inspections of the community vehicle(s) and report maintenance needs promptly. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and community policies. Maintain accurate travel logs and resident transport schedules. Support the Community Experience: Work closely with the life enrichment team to coordinate outing logistics and provide feedback from residents. Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, family members, and team members. Serve as an ambassador for the community while out and about. What You Bring to the Table (Besides a Clean Driving Record) Licensure & Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) may be required depending on vehicle type. Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and physical. Experience & Skills: Previous driving experience (especially with seniors or in a healthcare setting) preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Professional Traits: Friendly and compassionate with a heart for serving older adults. Calm under pressure and safety-minded in all situations.
