Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Massachusetts

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and holiday required if needed.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must be willing to float to any Med-Surg unit as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and implement appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation as per facility protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years of current Medical Surgical experience.
• Telemetry experience required.
• Completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia course is strongly required.
• Massachusetts RN license (must be uploaded with profile).
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• NIHSS certification.
• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
