Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Environmental Land-Use Permitting Specialist to join our team in either Wall Township or Warren, NJ. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in environmental land-use permitting, with a strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations. Responsibilities Manage the environmental land-use permitting process for various projects, including but not limited to wetlands, stormwater, air quality, and land use permits. Conduct thorough research on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Coordinate with internal teams, clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to facilitate the permitting process. Prepare and submit permit applications, environmental impact assessments, and regulatory compliance documents. Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on environmental land-use permitting matters. Monitor permit conditions and deadlines and ensure timely renewal and compliance reporting. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in environmental permitting, preferably in the Wall or Warren, NJ area. Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with GIS software and environmental modeling tools is a plus. Frequent travel and/or field work to our clients’ sites. (Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation required) Ability and willingness to support various groups and manage a variety of parallel tasks.
