This position is responsible for maintaining City buildings, facilities, and recreational areas through routine and specialized custodial services. Provide excellent internal and external customer service in support of the City’s Customer Service Initiative. Clean offices, restrooms, kitchens, cabins, outdoor facilities, and other assigned areas. Perform floor care, including vacuuming, mopping, stripping, and waxing. Restock supplies, replace light bulbs, and properly mix and use cleaning chemicals. Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables; maintain outdoor areas and parking lots. Operate commercial custodial equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums. Assist with special cleaning projects, deep cleaning, and sanitizing as needed. Set up facilities for special events and work flexible schedules as required. Report safety hazards and equipment issues promptly. Work during City emergencies when necessary. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping and/or custodial services. Knowledge of APPA , custodial standard of operations and principle guidelines.
