St. Mary's Healthcare Amsterdam | Amsterdam, NY | 13 Weeks | 36 hrs/week | 3x12 Nights | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM

St. Mary's Healthcare is seeking an experienced Psychiatric RN for a travel assignment. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned behavioral health nurse with strong psychiatric experience and a proven travel nursing background.

Position Highlights:

Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts
Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Provide comprehensive nursing care to psychiatric patients in a behavioral health setting.
Perform patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in behavior or clinical status.
Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary behavioral health teams.
Apply safe patient-care practices and crisis intervention techniques.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of Psychiatric RN experience
Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience
Travel experience should preferably demonstrate multiple completed assignments/renewals
Active New York State RN license
BLS required
CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification required
Strong psychiatric/behavioral health clinical experience
Previous travel experience is required
