MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Ayden, North Carolina. Role Information Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 40 Shift: 8 hours per day Employment Type: Travel Requirements Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and passed the NPTE Graduated from an accredited school Minimum one year of experience Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or actively pursuing licensure Current CPR certification Additional requirements may be determined by client facility Responsibilities The Physical Therapist / PT is responsible for assessment of referred patients who require rehabilitation services, providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation. The PT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the physician. The PT will set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record the patient's condition, and educate patients and families in the appropriate physical therapy method. The PT develops a plan of care for each patient and provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders. The PT assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates, and modifies care to meet therapy goals and collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
