Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - $45-$55/hr | Federal Facility | Acoma, NM
Location:
New Sunrise Regional Treatment Center
20 Mockingbird Drive, Pueblo of Acoma, NM 87034
(20 miles east of Grants, NM / 60 miles west of Albuquerque, NM)
Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Federal holidays observed (no work required)
Pay:
$45-$55/hour (based on experience)
Start Date:
Targeting TBD start in 2025 - Multi-year contract (Base + 4 Option Years) About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join the team at New Sunrise Regional Treatment Center (NSRTC)-a 24-bed residential facility serving Native American adolescents. NSRTC provides culturally relevant, multi-disciplinary mental health services in a structured, tobacco-free federal setting.
You will work with youth facing complex emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges, using evidence-based treatment approaches. This is a meaningful opportunity to provide impactful care to an underserved population in a supportive clinical environment. Key Responsibilities
• Conduct mental health assessments, evaluations, and diagnoses
• Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and psychotherapy
• Utilize evidence-based modalities: CBT, DBT, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Prolonged Exposure, etc.
• Develop treatment plans and provide case management
• Document clinical activities and maintain client records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a trauma-informed setting Required Qualifications
• Master's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited institution
• Active, independent state license as an LCSW (any U.S. state)
• Current BLS certification (ACLS/PALS preferred)
• Knowledge of DSM-5 and experience working with adolescents
• Strong clinical experience with culturally responsive care, preferably in Native American or rural communities Additional Requirements
• Must pass federal background check and security clearance process
• Must be willing to work on-site in Acoma, NM
