Together We Grow – One Mission, One Team – With a Commitment to Serve Subsidiary: T&H Services Job Title: Warehouse Specialist Work Location: Blackstone, VA Labor Category: Non-Exempt | CBA-IBEW Clearance Level: Secret Travel Requirement: N/A Pay Rate: $23.52/hour Health & Welfare: $8.00/hour up to 40 hours/week About the Role The Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of FASTC’s storage plan. What You'll Be Doing Work involves verifying materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations. Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for distribution. This worker may operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties. Coordinate and schedule preventative maintenance and repairs for GSA vehicles. Transport GSA vehicles to and from maintenance facilities in a safe and timely manner. Maintain and organize storage areas in accordance with inventory control procedures. Assist with material handling, stock rotation, and disposal of damaged or excess inventory. Support audits, inspections, and documentation requirements as needed. Load and unload deliver trucks while ensuring proper handling of materials and equipment.. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Performs other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Must have practical working experience with warehousing duties. Must be able to understand written and oral instructions to perform the required tasks. Must have a basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Prior experience with MAXIMO is preferred. Must have knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards and standard safety practices. Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance. Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position. Physical Demands & Work Environment Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching for long periods of time. Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays. Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and around various hazards with appropriate PPE. US Pay Range
