This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30). On-call required during weeknights and weekends.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic cardiac procedures. The nurse will work collaboratively as part of a team, ensuring optimal patient outcomes during catheterization and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterizations and related procedures.
• Administer moderate sedation to patients as required.
• Monitor patients pre- and post-procedure for complications.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a Cath Lab setting.
• Current California RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with cardiac stent placements, right and left heart catheterizations, and circulating procedures.
