Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in Ohio Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required) Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation CPR certification Preferred Experience At least one year of clinical experience Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital X‑rays, and electronic medical record systems Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills for preventive care and overall maintenance of patients’ oral health Ability to adeptly handle clinical needs as required by the office Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties including prolonged periods of sitting and standing Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation (including for disabilities) Prolonged periods sitting and standing; lift and carry, etc. Pre‑Employment Health Screening A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions.
