Occupational Therapy Assistant - Full Time

Job Summary: Provides prescribed occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of licensed therapists, covering geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, and neonatal rehabilitation. Performs home environmental assessments and assists in developing rehab care plans. Works with minimal supervision and may mentor staff on technical skills. Responsibilities Include Implementing treatment plans and selecting appropriate modalities to achieve goals. Assisting patients with transfers, mobility, dressing, and toileting to ensure safety and comfort. Supporting inpatient and outpatient schedules, coordinating visits, and reporting delays. Maintaining, caring for, and cleaning equipment and supplies. Performing additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's/Technical Degree preferred. At least two years of rehabilitative services or equivalent experience; one year of occupational therapy experience preferred. Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in applicable states required. CPR or BLS certification required. Valid driver’s license and age of at least 21 required. Skills and Attributes: Ability to work independently, mentor staff, perform environmental assessments, and ensure patient safety.
