Registered Nurse - Critical Care Unit

12-hour night shifts, with weekends as scheduled.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team in the Critical Care Unit, where you will provide direct patient care and support in a high-acuity environment. The Critical Care Unit consists of 20 beds, with a patient demographic that includes COVID-19 patients, cardiac cases post-angioplasty, and patients with complex medical conditions such as diabetic ketoacidosis, sepsis, and post-operative complications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, including those with COVID-19.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic medical record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Previous experience in a critical care or ICU setting is preferred.
