Warehouse & Fulfillment Manager

The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Manager is to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of all orders processed through a high-velocity fulfillment facility. This individual must monitor the overall performance of the shipping/warehouse team, provide visibility to system gaps and challenges, and be able to drive improvements within the facility and across the value stream. This individual will be responsible for inventory management and working with the buyer/planner for item replenishment. Areas of Accountabilities Lead the warehouse team Review and maintain staffing levels required to meet daily activity. Ensure all associates receive quarterly KA reviews, detailed annual performance reviews and continuous value-added feedback Coach, manage, and lead the warehouse team in pursuit of efficient and timely fulfillment and in alignment with our core values. Provide concise reporting to management on shipping/warehousing performance. Create a culture of continuous improvement and discipline to standards (e.g. 5S, Standard work, etc.) that enables growth for everyone. Execution of inventory & fulfillment activities Prioritize customer satisfaction and ensure on-time and accurate orders Adopt and optimize efficient receiving practices for inbound items. Ensure items are clearly identified with RPC item #’s and stored in a manner conducive to facility goals. Manage and improve facility layout for efficient receiving, inventory, and fulfillment workflow. Active management of requisite stock levels including proactive management action and communication for out-of-stock items. Take all steps necessary to measure and demonstrate inventory accuracy. Manage the relevant assigned general ledger accounts per budget demands. Collaborate with quality to execute quality checks and escalating issues to the appropriate team member. Continuously improve processes and systems scalable to future Delivery solutions pace and scale. Ensure actions and initiatives within the team are in alignment and in compliance with National safety standards. Collaborate with Dallas Safety team to ensure team attends safety training. Ensure warehouse and shipping areas are exceptionally clean and organized according to 5S standards. Manage shipping/warehouse related documentation and records (general production & compliance related). Utilize continuous improvement tools to drive work, improve processes, systems, and procedures. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or General Management Required: 5+ years of Logistics Management or Fulfillment/Warehouse Management Experience. Preferred: Experience with ERP and or WMS systems. JD Edwards (ERP) software a plus. Passion for leadership and employee development Systematic approach to problem solving Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills. Proficient using MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Proven ability to develop and implement processes from the ground up.
