To deliver individualized quality nursing care to cancer patients and families in accordance with established hospital guidelines, nursing professional practice model, nursing care standards and policies and in accordance with ANA code of ethics and external regulatory agencies. This is a contract or a time limited position for a minimum of 13 weeks contract and extendable with notice. This position will pay $65.00 per hour with no benefits.

We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse for our 4 South Unit. Our nursing staff provides knowledgeable and skilled care within a unique interdisciplinary team. Additionally, we provide care to complex medical oncology patients, as well as chemotherapy infusion.

The Ideal Candidate

• The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• 1 year of inpatient hospital experience
• Medical Surgery experience as a registered nurse
• Experience with Head and Neck Cancers, GU, and post op surgery patients

Responsibilities:

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families. Integrates patient and family centered care and the quality caring factors into practice
• Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on the learning needs of the patient
• Participates in Evidence based improvement activities related to area of practice
• Participates in professional development based on the nursing professional's standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations

Credentials and Qualifications:

• BSN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with at least one year of relevant experience or ASN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with 1 year of relevant experience.
• BCLS Certification
• FL License

Salary Range

$65.00 - $65.00

Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
