Job Overview Centurion proudly provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections. Position: Full‑time Mental Health Professional Location: Okeechobee Correctional Institution – 3420 N.E. 168th Street, Okeechobee, Florida 34972‑4824 Responsibilities: Provide mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consult with a multi‑disciplinary team. Tasks include intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, individual and group therapy. Schedule: 8 am–4:30 pm, Monday – Friday Salary: $80 K plus benefits. Qualifications Master’s level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution. Active mental health professional license in Florida – LMHC, LCSW or LMFT. Active Basic Life Support certification. Minimum of two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness (preferred). Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
