The Center for Community Health, opened in early 2021 in the heart of Park Slope at our NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.Location: Brooklyn, New YorkShift: Day (United States of America)We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with oncology experience and pediatric experience (or a strong comfort level caring for pediatric patients) to provide patient-centered care across our Same-Day Access and Infusion Center. This role supports the full spectrum of infusion services, including both benign and oncology patients in adult and pediatric populations, and involves acute symptom management, assessment and treatment of therapy-related complications, care coordination, and close collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team.The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a diverse patient population receiving a wide range of infusion therapies and will work closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other clinical team members to ensure high-quality, timely care. Prior experience with CAR-T therapy is preferred but not required.This is a full time day shift position working 4 days per week and there is also a rotating Saturday requirement. This position is located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.Preferred Criteria:Previous experience as Nurse Practitioner in oncologyExperience working with adults and childrenRequired Criteria:Nurse Practitioner Master's or Doctoral ProgramAt least 1 year of experience as Nurse Practitioner requiredCurrent NYS Registered Nurse licenseCurrent NYS Nurse Practitioner licenseBoard Certification as a Family Nurse PractitionerBasic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificationJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
