Brewer Veterinary Clinic is looking to add a dependable, compassionate, and skilled Relief Veterinarian to provide coverage on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for veterinarians looking for a flexible schedule while working with a professional and welcoming team. Brewer Veterinary Clinic is an AAHA-accredited, high-volume, small animal practice. Our dedicated staff consists of a team of receptionists, veterinary assistants, licensed veterinary technicians, and veterinarians. We all work together to offer compassionate and superior care to our clients and their companions! We have a newly renovated state-of-the-art facility, on-site digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, IDEXX diagnostic equipment, as well as a well-stocked surgical suite and pharmacy. Relief Veterinarian Brewer Veterinary Clinic in Brewer, ME $115.00 - $135.00 an hour WHAT YOU'LL DO Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care for small animals Perform physical exams, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans Interpret diagnostic tests including radiographs and lab results Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners about diagnoses and treatment options Maintain accurate and thorough medical records Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow REQUIREMENTS Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree A current ME Veterinary License Previous experience in a small animal practice preferred Excel in managing time, prioritizing tasks, and thriving in a fast-paced environment Ability to adapt quickly to different workflows and clinic systems Rarebreed Veterinary Partners Rarebreed Veterinary Partners is a purpose-driven team that places talent first by supporting professionals to thrive in our industry and empowering hospital teams to provide exceptional care for pets and their owners.
