Description of Work The Senior Project Manager for DHHS Information Technology Division leads high‑impact, complex technology projects that directly support key health and human services programs across North Carolina. This role drives project strategy, oversees cross‑functional teams, manages vendor performance, and ensures successful delivery of innovative IT solutions. Candidates will work with executive stakeholders, Vendor teams, apply Waterfall, Hybrid and/or Agile methodologies, and influence outcomes that strengthen statewide services. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Salary Grade Range: $ 105,341.00 - $ 184,345.00 Recruitment Range: $ 105,341.00 - $ 115,000.00 Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. The IT division (ITD) is one of the divisions that report to the Operational Excellence portfolio. The ITD division comprises four sections: Implementation and Operations, Strategy and Workforce, Enterprise Technology, and Vendor and Finance. ITD offers the following services but not limited to implementations, operations, project/portfolio management, infrastructure, consulting, business division liaison, digital transformation, IT strategy, enterprise technology, IT contract and vendor management, and data office services.
