Weekend On-Call PositionThe purpose of the on-call position is to assist the agency with last minute staffing needs. This is accomplished by paying a qualified caregiver to be ready to pick up last minute assignments at any time, for any client scheduled on the weekend. The on-call person will have a company vehicle available or, will receive a gas allowance.$14.00 per hour minimum, while you are on a shift work assignment.$10.00 per hour, while you are on a 24-hour assignment.$150.00 stipend + hourly rate per hours worked.Paid travel time at hourly rate to and from all assignments while on call.Be available to take any assignment 24 hours a day, while you are on-call.Attend scheduled staff meetings.Be prepared to take on any of the following assignments for which you are qualified:All duties outlined in the Homemaker/Companion job description.All duties outlined in the Home Care Aid/Caregiver job description.An on-call shift is from Friday afternoon 4:00pm through Monday at noon, 12:00pm.If you turn down, or are unreachable for an on-call assignment while you are on duty, we will re-evaluate the status of the position upon discussion of events pertaining to the absence/refusal and you will forfeit your on-call incentive pay. If a shift is refused, you will only be paid at the agreed upon hourly rate for confirmed service hours worked.You are required to report to your assignment in a timely manner as determined by the office when assigning you to the case.
