Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner

• Schedule: Nights Only NP/PA Night Shift: 8p-6a
• Job Setting: Hospital
• Types of Cases: Average 93 encounters/day total; ICU is open with a critical care team available; No procedures required

Minimum Requirements Nurse Practitioner (NP)

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Active certification through AANP or ANCC
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS; Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME
• Licensure: Active unrestricted TN RN License, TN NP License, TN DEA License with TN address & Prescriptive Authority; CDS required
• Education/Training: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Clinical Experience: Preferred 2 years of recent experience in the specialty; New Grads may be accepted depending on site needs

Physician Assistant (PA)

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Active certification through NCCPA
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS; Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME
• Licensure: Active unrestricted TN Medical License & DEA with TN address (Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4 & 5); CDS required
• Education/Training: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical Experience: Preferred 2 years of recent experience in the specialty; New Grads may be accepted depending on site needs; Mentorship or Proctorship may be required
