Travel :?Hach Regional Sales Managers are customer facing, solution focused sellers. The RSM position is a field-based, highly autonomous, remote role covering a defined territory. Overnight travel will be required to support clients, attend certified training programs, participate in industry seminars, and support regional conferences. Travel accommodations are made via our company approved travel agency and business related expenses incurred are paid using a company issued credit card. Expense reports are submitted for reimbursement.
Travel is approximately 6 0% or more within the division around AZ, CA, HI, and NV.
About the Role
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is the primary front-line sales representative for strategic accounts and is vital to Hach's ability to deliver customer value and drive growth. In this role, you will manage a defined territory of large customer accounts with multiple influencers and is accountable for delivering revenue results through territory planning, value-based selling, and execution. We will rely on you to build strong customer relationships and position Hach as a trusted partner in water management solutions.
In this role, a typical day will look like
Developing and executing territory and account plans aligned to revenue targets
Managing pipeline, opportunities, and forecasts in Salesforce.com
Conducting customer visits, product demonstrations, and evaluations
Building relationships with engineers, consultants, and key decision-makers
Identifyingand developing new business opportunities within the territory
Mentoringassociates and less experienced sales managers
Collaborating with inside sales, field service, applications, and technical teams
Monitoring market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs
The essential requirements of the job include
5+ yearsof direct B2B sales experience selling complex industrial or technical solutions; experience in water industry preferred
Proventrack recordof meeting or exceeding sales targets in a territory-based role
Experience managing pipeline, forecasting, and opportunities using Salesforce.com (or similar CRM)
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Ability to travel up to60% within the division

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
