Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and collaborative Production Manager to oversee our facility workforce (approx. 30 employees) under a 5-Year Contract . The ideal candidate is a dedicated team player who thrives in a leadership role, communicates effectively with upper management and plant personnel, and is driven by operational excellence, strict schedule execution, and quality assurance. This is an inner facility job posting, not an office job. All management levels work inside the facility on the shop floor all day.

Key Responsibilities

• Workforce & Facility Leadership: Supervise, support, and direct all facility personnel to ensure productive, efficient daily operations. Maintain high team morale and foster a collaborative environment.
• Schedule Execution & Shipping: Manage day-to-day workflow to consistently fulfill weekly production schedules (provided by upper management in multi-week blocks). Maintain a strict commitment to 100% on-time shipping .
• Weekly Schedule Completion: Ensure all assigned work orders and production targets are completed on a strict week-to-week basis.
• Quality Oversight: In collaboration with internal quality control staff, oversee product standards to ensure all items meet customer specifications prior to shipment.
• Problem Resolution: Lead rapid, practical fixes to any daily production delays, equipment issues, or quality variances to honor customer commitments.
• Management Alignment: Work closely with upper management to communicate facility needs, progress, and operational updates.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Minimum 2-year Community College Degree with a focus in Business Management , or a Bachelor’s Degree in Business .
• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to operate efficiently within Google Workspace architecture (Google Sheets, Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, etc.) for daily reporting, schedule tracking, and team communication.
• Language Skills: Ability to communicate in Spanish is a strong plus.
• Strong team-first attitude with the ability to build trust with both shop-floor workers and upper management.
• Excellent organizational, operational, and time-management skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on quick, effective solutions.
• Ability to commit to a 5-year agreement, work management hours (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM), and work periodic Saturdays when needed.

Compensation & Long-Term Growth

We offer a strong, stability-focused compensation package designed to reward operational excellence and clear internal promotion:

• Starting Base Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 per year (depending on experience), plus guaranteed annual increases over the 5-year contract term.
• 401(k) Retirement Plan: 401(k) plan offered with a 3% company match .
• Paid Time Off: 2 Weeks Paid Vacation (PTO) per year.
• Combined Performance Bonus (Quality & On-Time Shipping):
• • Awarded quarterly upon achieving zero quality defects on shipped items and meeting 100% on-time delivery targets for that quarter.
  • 5-Year Bonus Schedule:
  • • Year 1: $1,500 per quarter (Up to $6,000/year)
    • Year 2: $2,000 per quarter (Up to $8,000/year)
    • Year 3: $2,500 per quarter (Up to $10,000/year)
    • Year 4: $3,000 per quarter (Up to $12,000/year)
    • Year 5: $3,500 per quarter (Up to $14,000/year)
• Career Advancement Opportunity (Year 6): Candidates who successfully execute the 5-year agreement will have the direct opportunity in Year 6 to transition into upper management leadership and advance to an elevated executive pay and compensation structure.

Interview & Hiring Process

Our candidate selection involves a 3-round process:

1. Round 1: Resume Review – Initial screening of experience, qualifications, and employment history.
2. Round 2: Video Interview – Virtual interview (camera must be turned on) to discuss leadership style, experience, and role expectations.
3. Round 3: On-Site Plant Visit – On-site visit to review plant operations/processes and meet directly with the facility owners.
