About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of prior travel experience required License: State License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience required - Patient ratio experience required - Experience with specific charting systems preferred - Experience in treating pediatric patients preferred Description: This position involves a 36/48 hour alternating schedule. Most patients are adults, but the RN should be comfortable caring for pediatric patients if assigned. Registered Nurses will receive support from permanent staff as needed. The unit focuses on delivering comprehensive care to diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census includes managing 10 beds. Registered Nurses will frequently interact with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and social services. Skills required include managing cardiac drips, blood product administration, and isolation precautions. A successful candidate will demonstrate competency in both managing complex care and working within a team-oriented environment.
