Job Description

Our Client in Fairfield NJ is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker to join their team!

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Full time flexible hrs)
Pay: DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Construct, alter, and repair a variety of tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to very close tolerance.
Develops strategies for fabricating die components using the most efficient machining methodology.
Demonstrated ability for using shop mathematics, handbook of geometric and trigonometric formulas.
Ability to work from drawings and sketches.
Ability to use all types of precision measuring instruments.
Thorough knowledge of machine shop practices, principles of mechanics, machine shop operations, and the working generalities of material
Previous experience working with Progressive or Compound Dies

REQUIREMENTS:

HS diploma required.
