This full-time role offers the unique opportunity to provide vital mental health support within a school environment, where you will work closely with children and adolescents facing significant mental health challenges. Our goal is to empower these individuals while fostering a nurturing and collaborative team atmosphere.

About the Organization\n

At Inner Strength Therapy Center, located in San Antonio, Texas, we are deeply committed to promoting healthier communities through cost-effective, patient-centered healthcare services. Our approach encompasses innovative and evidence-based treatments tailored to the unique needs of our clients.

Work Environment\n

The position is uniquely structured to be remote, allowing you to support clients from the comfort of your home while also visiting schools as needed. This flexibility supports work-life balance and allows for an adaptive approach to avoid the geographical barriers often faced in traditional settings. You will collaborate with educational staff and mental health professionals to create a supportive framework for students, making this role integral to the success of our mission.

Key Responsibilities\n
    \n

  • \n
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation of client progress, adherence to treatment plans, and other relevant reports.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with families and educational staff to cultivate an inclusive environment conducive to the emotional and social development of students.
  • \n
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities as assigned, providing support to clients during and after regular service hours.
  • \n
Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role prioritizes working with children and adolescents who are vulnerable due to socio-economic challenges and mental health issues. Clients will often present with a variety of conditions, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and behavioral challenges. Your sensitivity and understanding of these diverse backgrounds will be crucial in providing effective, tailored interventions.

Qualifications\n
    \n
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
  • \n
  • A valid LCSW license in Texas is mandatory.
  • \n
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience working in clinical settings, particularly with children and adolescents, is preferred.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health treatment and familiarity with current trends in educational support services.
