PositionOverview Ellingsonisseekingaskilled,dependable,andcustomer-focused HVACServiceTechnician tojoinourPlymouthoffice.Thispositionwillberesponsiblefordiagnosing,servicing,repairing,andmaintainingHVACsystemsforcustomersthroughouttheTwinCitiesmetroarea. TheidealcandidateisanexperiencedHVACprofessionalwhoiscomfortableworkingindependently,takesownershipofservicecallsfromdiagnosisthroughcompletion,andtakesprideindeliveringqualityworkmanshipandexceptionalcustomerservice. KeyResponsibilities AsanHVACServiceTechnician,youwill: Diagnose,troubleshoot,service,andrepairresidentialandcommercialHVACsystemsandequipment. Performplannedandpreventativemaintenanceaccordingtocustomeragreementsandmanufacturerrecommendations. Identifynecessaryrepairs,replacementparts,andadditionalserviceneeds. Clearlycommunicatefindings,recommendations,progress,andconcernswithcustomers. CompletewarrantyserviceandrepairsoninstalledHVACequipment. Ensurenecessarymaterials,parts,andequipmentareidentifiedandorderedinatimelymanner. Accuratelycompleteservicedocumentationandrequiredpaperwork. Provideguidanceandsupporttoapprenticesandless-experiencedteammemberswhenapplicable. Maintaincompanytools,equipment,andvehiclesinaprofessionalmanner. Followallcompanysafetypolicies,procedures,andapplicableregulations. Maintainacleanandsafeworkenvironmentatcustomerlocations. Participateinarotatingon-callscheduleasrequired. WorkcollaborativelywiththePlymouthteamandotherEllingsondepartmentstoprovideanexceptionalcustomerexperience. Qualifications PreviousHVACservice,maintenance,troubleshooting,andrepairexperience. StrongknowledgeofHVACsystems,equipment,materials,methods,andtools. AbilitytoindependentlydiagnoseandtroubleshootmechanicalandelectricalHVACissues. Understandingofapplicablebuildingcodes,safetyrequirements,andindustrystandards. EPASection608Certificationpreferred. Strongproblem-solvingskillsandattentiontodetail. Abilitytomanageservicecallsefficientlyandworkindependentlyinthefield. Excellentcommunicationandcustomerserviceskills. Abilitytoworkeffectivelywithcustomers,coworkers,apprentices,andothertrades. Validdriver'slicenseandacceptabledrivingrecord. AbilitytomeetthephysicalrequirementsassociatedwithHVACservicework.
