We have been delivering reliable design of complex electrical systems for over 20 years and are a pioneer in the development of engineering and controls automation.Job Type: Full-Time +, Exempt Pay: CompetitiveEssential Functions & Responsibilities:Manage multiple projects with varying team membersWork with clients, business development staff, managers and engineers to coordinate project designsWork with existing clients and new prospects to identify business opportunitiesPrepare engineering proposals and fee estimatesPrepare management reports for internal and external useManage project scopes, budgets, schedules and personnelCoordinate and manage computer aided drafting and engineering quality controlUtilize basic engineering principles and practical design solutions for scope developmentCoordinate and oversee design and quality control of system enclosure, communications, point to point wiring and related diagram and schematicsCoordinate and manage integrators, controls designers with control wiring, communication and control conceptsManage and assist personnel to utilize basic engineering principles and practical design solutionsManage and oversee development and review of custom designs and automation sequencesCoordinate and communicate with clients on equipment deliveries, field work, startups, pre-commissioning, commissioning, training and witness test effortsWork with sub-consultant(s) to coordinate tradesAttend job meetings & coordinate activities as requiredAttend training as requested to further enhance your dutiesReview and approve team member timesheetsPerform financial and invoicing review with accounting team on a regular basisComplete and submit weekly paperwork (e.g. timesheets, expense reports, etc.)Minimum Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or olderAbility to work accurately, execute projects with a high level of success, and maintain attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong documentation skillsOutstanding initiative, well-organized and strong sense of responsibilityExcellent computer knowledge and advanced skills using CAD and Microsoft Office applications are requiredOutstanding knowledge and ability to create, review and interpret - power AC single and three line diagrams, power DC diagrams, control diagrams, communication schematics and dataflow diagramsEducation & Experience:BS in Engineering, Engineering Management, or a similar discipline (preferred)Five to ten years of experienceExperience with REVIT is an advantageLicense & Certifications:Driver's License RequiredPMP Certification Preferred, but not requiredTravel: Occasional overnight stays and local day travel may be necessary. You will be responsible for providing your own transportation to and from the office and job sites. You will be reimbursed for business expenses such as tolls, parking and business-related mileage at a rate allowable by government standards. The expenses incurred traveling to and from the office are excluded from reimbursement.Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
