Job Title

Role and Responsibilities:

Performs the duties of a paying and receiving teller: cashes checks; accepts deposits and loan payments and safe deposit rent; sells Official Checks; completes CTRs and Cash Log as needed; takes check orders; scans work for Branch Capture.

Performs the duties of a Customer Service representative: opens new accounts; monitors check orders; cross-sells all accounts offered by the bank; assists customers with IRAs and IRA questions and with account inquiries.

Opens, balances, and closes Card Wizard machine daily. Makes/orders debit cards.

Prepares wires as requested by customer.

Performs the duties of a loan assistant as backup.

Uses Deposit Horizons when working with customers.

Complies with CIP requirements.

Balances cash vault on a rotating basis.

Balances the ATM as needed.

Assists customers with concerns and questions to resolve issues.

Maintains prompt and regular attendance.

Demonstrates a positive, helpful attitude with co-workers and customers.

Strives to improve efficiency in his/her work area through cost savings.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Completes all training assigned by HR, IT, Compliance, BSA, and supervisor on a timely basis.

Follows IT Security Policies and Procedures, including the diligent reporting of phishing emails.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

Banking Experience is preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
