Parts Shipping & Receiving

Mossy Automotive is seeking an experienced Parts Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support our Service & Body Shop department and provide customers with exceptional experiences. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced, professional workplace and select parts and accessories from stock shelves in accordance with repair and client orders, manage inventory, and maintain shelves with incoming or returned merchandise. Compensation: Base hourly wage ranging from $18.50/hr to $20.00/hr. Candidates must have 3–5 years of experience in a similar role. Count, weigh or measure items on incoming and outgoing shipments; verify information against invoices, orders and other records. Determine method of shipment, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. Keep all bins, aisles and storage areas clean and clearly labeled. Maintain receiving and shipping records, delivery truck maintenance records and returned parts records. Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Ensure that outgoing shipments meet specifications. Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Mark & stock parts according to pre‑arranged system. Physically demanding duties: move throughout parts shelves all day, reaching and climbing to obtain parts from inventory; stand 6–8 hours during a shift at the customer counter. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent. Valid driver's license & clean driving record. Ability to use parts department computer system. Good communication skills. Good comprehension of parts manuals. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Experience in retail or wholesale parts department. Ability to climb flights of stairs.
