Travel Operating Room Circulator RN

Location: Durant, OK

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Days, 06:30 AM - 03:30 PM, holidays required.

Job Description: The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient in the operating room. As a member of the surgical team, the RN works with the Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, OR Technicians, and other personnel to provide patient care in the operating room according to the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards, physician orders, and the policies and procedures of the Hospital and the Surgical Department.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring supplies and materials are ready for procedures.
• Facilitating communication with families and updating physicians on patient status.
• Updating physician preference cards.
• Scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases.
• Supervising personnel delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting is required. Candidates must possess an active Registered Nurse license.
